A video of former US President Barack Obama addressing Nigerians just before the 2015 elections has gone viral on social media as Nigerians get ready for the 2023 general elections in a couple of days.
The former US President said in the video that a free and fair election is a requirement for any election to be credible.
He further told all the candidates running for office at the time to tell their supporters that violence has no place in a democratic election or after the votes have been counted. He stated that all Nigerians must be able to vote without being intimidated or afraid.
