Highly celebrated Nigerian singer, popularly known as 9ice, has put his connection to Yoruba culture and tradition in the spotlight once again after the singer shared a video from a spiritual/traditional ceremony with his fans.
The Gongo Aso singer, whose real name is Abolore Akande, shared the video on Saturday, October 3rd, which shows him and a few others taking part in a traditional ceremony where they are all dressed in white.
The singer could be seen carrying some tubers of yam on his head, while the others around him happily sing, clap, and dance in merriment.
This is not the first time the singer has come out to celebrate his roots and connection to Yoruba culture.
Earlier this year, the singer made it known to the general public via an Instagram post that he has been a practicing babalawo for nearly two decades.
